Upcoming Events
We are excited to invite you to the HCHA Member Only Forum, “Mauri Ora: Home and Community Support, the heart of care”
Join us for what promises to be a powerful day of connection, insight, and real possibility. The programme will include updates from funders, a session with our Aged Care Commissioner, member-led innovation showcases, and insights from across the Tasman on what is working well and what is not in aged care. Plus, a lot more!
We are also scoping an exciting Parliament Event for the evening prior, on 15th September, and while we are awaiting final confirmation, we wanted you to know about it early. This would be a wonderful opportunity to speak directly with MPs across parties and portfolios, to share the kaupapa of your mahi and to connect with decision-makers who need to hear your stories.
This year's theme, 'Communities thrive when home and community support is at the heart of healthcare' celebrates the stories, strategies, and innovative solutions that are transforming care in our communities. It's about recognising the power of home care to change lives by supporting tāngata whai ora across all ages and abilities, including older people, disabled people, and those on their care journeys. Home and community support keeps people well, enables recovery after accident or illness, and places their needs at the centre of care.
