Healthvision was established in 1999 by Sue Doherty, a registered nurse who identified the need for quality and responsive home-based care services. From humble beginnings to one of New Zealand’s leading healthcare providers, today Healthvision is still family-owned and continues to support grassroots action and values community-based and family-oriented healthcare. By combining services from our home support, nursing, rehabilitation and allied health teams, we deliver better and more efficient healthcare, which maximises people’s wellbeing and independence.

NURSING SERVICES

• Free nursing services with approved ACC claims
• Burns and wound care
• Doppler assessment
• Hospital in the home
• Medication administration
• Serious injury nursing support
• Palliative care
• Pressure injury prevention and management
• Medication management and clinical oversight

 

REHAB SERVICES

• Assessment services
• Training for independence services
• Community and home-based rehabilitation
• Specialist neurological rehabilitation
• Physiotherapy

 

CLINICAL TRIALS MONITORING

• Community monitoring of clinical trials.
• Working closely with investigator sites and clinical trial organisations.
